The image above i decided was my best image. I blurred all around her head and only her forehead eyes and the glass are still slightly in focus.

This final image was the result of experimentation on photoshop. The image shows two sides of the person: the inner anger and fiery rage within. Whereas the other half is much calmer and resolved. After creating the image it reminded me of shots from the Matrix.

Saul Leiter was born in 1923 and is often considered one of the most influential photographers of the 21st century. He was well known for his photos taken in the streets of New York city. His photos show a range of colours but also notably hide peoples faces and impressions.
|
Both examples of Leiters work above show little to none of peoples faces and both picture people through glass or windows. This gives an ambiguous effect and draws much more attention to the colours and shapes in the photos.

To start off I cut out and coped the Gherkin, by doing this i was able to edit and change the colours of the rest of the image without affecting the main focus area. My first edit was to use the lens blur tool on the two other buildings.
|
Following this, I decided to remove colour from the two buildings, doing this made the Gherkin even more bold.
